An effigy of Sarah Palin hangs by the neck from the gable of a house in LA. The owner of the house calls it "art". As an artist, I am insulted that someone would consider it "art". As a Christian, I am appalled that people don't see this "art" for what it really is - hate.
Helen Jones-Kelley, director of The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, used government computers to investigate Samuel Wurzelbacher (Joe the Plumber). Kelley-Jones is a democrat who has made the maximum allowable contributions to the Obama campaign. She dismisses claims that her snooping was politically motivated. Right. Ask yourself this. If there were any skeletons in Joe's closet, what do you think would have happened next? This is just a preview of the the next four years of an Obama administration and how they will treat those with the audacity to challenge his policies.
Only a few days left to the most important election of our time. Obama has raised upwards of three quarters of a billion dollars in campaign contributions. He's outspent McCain on an average of five to one, ten to one in some markets. He has celebrity status and the support of nearly all of Hollywood and the so called "global community". Nearly all of the main stream media backs Obama including the major TV networks and most major newspapers across America. The vast majority of commentary from these sources has been overwhelmingly positive for Obama and negative for McCain. Obama spent millions purchasing thirty minutes of airtime to make his well orchistrated pitch to the undecideds. He has ridden the wave of discontent through the pipeline of crashing markets and the relentless dischord among Bush haters everywhere. Indeed, Obama has had every conceivable break go his way while McCain has run one of the most inept campaigns in recent memory. And yet, its still close. Latest polls indicate the race is within the margin of error. Its impossible to predict the outcome of this one, but if I were Obama, I'd be concerned.
Reuters reports that a video has surfaced of an Al Qaeda leader praying for "the humiliation of Bush and his party". Its no secret that terrorists everywhere want Obama to win this election. Why do you suppose that is? Those who refuse to see this threat for what it is think we can cuddle with them and have dialogue. The only "dialogue" Jihadists want with you is their edict that you convert to Islam. If not, heads will roll. An Obama win will confirm in their minds Allah's belssing on their mission.
